Devoted supporters of the pop star are demanding that a individual who breached a fence and touched the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral video depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside photographers and charging at Grande while the cast made its way down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though court documents showed that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account contains videos of him interrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is obviously a punishable act," wrote an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Well-being

Numerous supporters accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more message on Instagram.

Several fans also faulted guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for digital services to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Numerous of fans had gathered in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore venue, including a number who had waited for as long as many hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be released on 21 November, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known stage show Wicked, which centers on the surprising bond between two very different witches.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of 2024 in the UK, and received 10 Oscar nominations, securing several for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
