According to a newly released parliamentary assessment, the United Kingdom is without a proper defense strategy to defend itself and its overseas territories from possible hostile actions.

In a severely negative analysis, the military oversight panel asserted that Britain is "significantly behind" the required position to properly protect itself and its allies, particularly during a era when defence challenges to the continent are "considerable".
